Love Girls Magazine

Love GIRLS Magazine is a magazine for girls, by girls.  There are branches in Memphis, TN, Washington D.C., and the Quad Cities.  I served as the Senior Assistant Editor of the Quad Cities branch from 2014-2018, and hold the current position of Vice President. The skills I gained include:

  • Team management
  • Event planning
  • Managing a company social media account

Through a community partnership with WVIK, a local NPR radio station, LGM has created a podcast highlighting women who are making an impact by sharing their story.  We have interviewed activists, non-profit leaders, young moms, survivors of domestic violence and more.

I was also featured on the cover in 2016 (with a strong push from my girls), where I shared my story of depression and how I try to inspire others by telling my story.
